good job, but the news and login boxes need reworking majorly.

1. the "Hover" tab's colors need to be fixed (contrast problem)
2. maybe, you should apply "smooth edge" to all edges (not only for the top).
3. I think the "contact me" and "sites to visit" part's box/container need to be smoothen (i mean the upper part of the box's transparency gradation).
