Well, if you could do with PHP instead of CGI and don't need to upload files larger than 150 kb, you could try http://www.t35.com/ .

YES THERE IS!!!
They don't put a limit on the amount of space you are allocated - unlimited - without limits.
You may get an e-mail saying "Please cut down on your using of our harddisk - you've filled it up!"
But they do not add a limit - unlimited!

That's the wisest thing I've heard in a while... most of the regulars in here just jump with they hear the word unlimited. It is perfectly possible.

What I don't see is that why would someone an unlimited host any way. Warez masters can't upload because of file size limits, and its not likely someone's gonna upload 10 Terabytes of HTML files there anyway.

There are hosts that say they offer unlimited space but this is impossible because nobody has invented the unlimited hard drive yet. However, I could list a load of these if you wanted me to. Would you like unlimited bandwidth served with that too? All for free with no ads? If you're looking for cgi too that'll be impossible. :biggrin2:

Unmetered is a word. Just because it isn't listed in Dictionary.com doesn't mean that the word can't exist. It's simply "meter" with a prefix and a suffix.

Calling it unmetered is stupid too. All that unmetered would really mean is that the space your site takes up is not watched or kept track of. It does not mean unlimited.

Anyway, unlimited space does not exist. If everyone who's hosted on a hard drive all uploaded as much stuff as they wanted to, the hard drive would be filled and they would have reached a limit.

host.sk works fine for most sql/php features.
news/comment, control panel, admin log in, singup, yaknow...

its good except for topsites.
hypermart.net is best for topsites.

if i were you, use host.sk

Most of the hosts that offer unmetered space and transfer simply limit the other stuff that you can do, such as file size limits, so yes, unmetered and unlimited aren't the same thing.

well since i am the experienced one, an advice, dont use thos"unlimited webspace" hosts to store warez, because they will delete your account and u will have to reupload everything allover again. Stick with our old friend tripod.ca! hehe

I don't believe someone will upload something bigger than 1gb(I don't think many exceed 250mb too) unless someone is running a warez site. Of course there is a limit to everything, but if the user just asks for unlimited, find a host that claims to have unlimited instead of -----ing about 'there is no such thing as unlimited'.

I registered on narod. And I can login, but I have no idea where to go after that, and none of the translators aren't working for me. Can somebody tell me what I do after I login to upload files?
