I just signed up for a new reseller account the other night. Well with their automated thing, the welcome email gave me a yucky username. I asked to have it changed and they said no, they can't because I'm on a reseller account. Every other company I was with, changed it without a problem. This is all very upsetting. :cry2: Any advice??

Tell them you want a new username. It's also good for security, if your username doesn't include your domain. ;)

Well, changing your username on a reseller account can be annoying for the provider because it means disabling your Reseller Privileges and re-enabling them again.

Not to mention that if the host has it hard coded into their billing system, it may make it impossible for them to change it. The best option for you at the moment is to either beg them to change it, or live with it! It usually has a pattern anyway :)

Try their services at first, if they are really good, I don't think it's worth moving away from them...

Tell them you know it only takes 2 minutes and you'll keep logging support calls till they do :wink2:
That's just lazy of them. Or worse they don't know how to!
