Hi there.

Ive been invloved with various aspects of the internet and computers since i was a kid like most of us younger people here. Recently ive decided to pool all my small unrelated projects ect into one website. The site is hosted on my cheepass dedicated server.

Part of it is minor webpage design for people in my local area and online friends. Altho in the past ive always hosted their sites myself or advised them of some free hosting service, im now looking for a reseller account to do this so i can charge for the hosting. Currently i just upload their files and make all the databases myself and they ahve no controll.

So im looking for some kind of relitivly cheep, reliable reseller package that has the ability for customers to access cpanel and create their own sql databases, subdomains and FTP accounts.

Hopefully someone here can help me out. :D

Thanks

.Andy

ok.. im having a minor problem.....

Stupid signup pages want me to register/enter a top level domain. I Intend to use a subdomain for the hosting and of course it doesnt allow that.. how do i get around it. There should be no need for a domain at all when theres a dedicated IP with the package :/

EDIT: NVM, i registered a new domain... unfortunatly it wouldnt let me register it anonomously, so i put dodgy detauild for the domain registration.. I hate whois :P

May we know who you chose?

After some research (google) and looking at the various sites i went with Crissic.

It was either them or Geek Rack, and to tell you the truth, if it wasnt for the lack of the automated system (being a custom plan) i would have gone for Geek Rack. However Crissic too seemed fine.

Unfortunatly it seems to be a bad choice.

Payment was instant, thats fine.
Setup took about 34 hrs, again i dont mind too much.

HOWEVER already their site is down, and for the 5 min it was up (when i first came online) it refused my login details. Currently their site has been down for 4 hours.....

NOT a good start.

I have no idea why, but some people see their site just fine.

From Home, Work AND my 3G mobile phone i cannot connect. These are 3 Different ISPs so the problem lies somewhere between Melbourne, Australia and their servers....

on the 2 PCs tracerts get no further than this IP:
ge1-oc48-1-0-ctsi.rtr0.scr1.hostnoc.net / 66.197.191.1

If you are still looking, our system is fully automated and accounts are instantly activated. Support response times average 30 minutes and we have not gone down yet since September only for 2 reboots.

Well, since Crissic take way too ----ing long to answer my emails (i shouldnt have to corespond with them 1 message per day and then wait to the next day for a reply) I have demanded my money back.

Not that i give a ---- about $20. However i did ask for RELIABLE relellers and the fact the site has been inexcessable for over a day now means its NOT reliable.
