Btw, have you tried accessing the site from different computer/browser/isp? Maybe it's not their fault. Sometimes, it could be your computer's fault.

Can you give the URL of your site, so we can test it out (to prove) ?

The records at Companies House confirms that there is a company by the name Cergo PLC registered on January 11, 2008.

If you are a webhost and start to attack another webhost even if you feel like it's warranted, you risk getting a warning. As for those who are hosted by cergo and complained about this company, you need to post your domain or contact me privately with that info. We don't accept anonymous complaints about webhosts.

Some posts will be removed from this thread shortly. If the person who started this thread does not get back to us with the domain he had hosted, that post gets removed too within a day.

From what I can understand at this time:

There are complaints from two users in this thread and also a complaint about a sales representative of this company. Andrew has responded to those complaints and removed that sales representative.

We'll continue to look into the situation, but if posts gets removed from this thread you know why.

Isn't it a good thing only 1 out of 180 clients are unhappy? Yes, it's not always good that someone isn't happy with your service... but you are bound to have at least one unhappy client when you run a business of any kind.

Criticisms should be accepted, and should be learned from, not rejected and frowned upon.

Yeh it is a good thing, but the way everyone was making out, its like it was a huge issue. From one complaint came accusations of me being a scammer etc.

Complaints help improve service which is why i act upon all complaints i receive.

I think you need to read up on the data protection act - The OP could easily sue you in regards to what you have posted, what do you think would do more harm, a few bad words, or no business?

Actually if it was stored in your billing or other systems it does come under the DPA, whether it's a 'public web address' or not. You should read up at least once on all this stuff (boring but essential) , it will clarify the pitfalls.

I have two sites hosted with Cergo VPS and i'm happy with the speed, features and support. actually it's faster than other hosts i've tried. it may be your connection/isp problem.

I have been with cergo and let me tell you that they are by far the best in the business.
I was also sad when they said that they would add ads but then due to their rebranding or something they then said an email with NO ads and a LOT more upgrades such as adding ruby as well increasing the disk space, did i forget?

The speed is just brilliant ! Even my heavy scripts fun every fast (not only mine, all my friends , but.... yeah none of then have Pentium II)
