I would just like to say that anyone looking for a reliable reseller should visit http://kwix-host.com

So far I've been with kwix-host for more than 6 months and I've gotta say they're AMAZING! They have great support, great prices and have great uptime.
All my support tickets have been answered really quick and trust me I have sent many. Overall if you need a reliable host either paid or free, Kwix is the way to go.

Uptime= 9.9/10
Support= 8/10
Prices= 10/10

UPDATE: Today my account was hacked and everything from it was DELETED and you know what? Kwix had NO backups!!! I have no way to retrieve any of my clients data. I DO NOT recommend that you buy hosting from them.

Always back up yourself regardless of whether the host does :)

I have backups of my own site, but what about the clients?

Same as above, clients should always backup

If you wanted your clients data backed up, you should have done it. Most modern reseller control panels allows you to do it.

We are also not responsible for any damage to sites that are outwith our control, this includes but is not limited to any hacks including DDOS to a members site, we constantly update our security centres but unfortunately we cannot prepare for every eventuality. We encourage all our clients to take a backup copy of their website and should they not have this ability they can request us to backup their site for them, if any damage occurs to a clients website we are not liable.

I went to look at their terms. I quoted what I saw regarding this issue. I do not know when was this last updated.
I think it also includes there whole system being hacked. I'm sorry to hear.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss David. Like people have said above, it is one of your responsibilities to backup your own site even though we do take backups. Your site wasn't on our paid service for that long so, I'm sorry to say that we didn't have any backups available. I'm sorry for your loss.

Why should your host be expected to keep backups? Take some responsibility for your own mistakes. A host should offer its shared customers backups, but offering a reseller backups? Hell no.

Even though I like for hosts to keep backups, I have never trusted my sites to a host. I always keep backups myself.

I am sorry to hear of your loss, especially after seeing such a good review. :(

Just to clear these things up. David if you wasn't given a reason this comment is acceptable but under these circumstances, saying this is not.
We're not currently letting you have another account free of charge because looking at iPanel, it was your IP which deleted the account.

Hi,

I'm the CEO of wiizdom.com, recently my server was hacked. And my host Kwix-host.com didn't have any backups, so None of the data could be retrieved.

Jonny so was your server hacked or just his account deleted?

I'm not prepared to comment yet. We currently don't know exactly how it happened. It WASNT a server breach or a client account breach.

It looks like it was ipanel's fault.

So then you can take back what you've said about Kwix, right?

From what I have read on other forums, the IPanel that Kwix-Host uses for some reason did not recognize payments made and instead of suspending the account, it terminated them. You are not the only one to lose all your data to their mistake.

Could you please explain in further detail about the last part please?

This ones gone pear shaped, poor Kwix.

Isn't it about time that the OP took it private and that others clarified any other issues they're mentioning *cough*

It's been admitted that the initial accusations were wrong and unfounded - unfortunately anyone visiting probably wouldn't read the whole thread, this is just damaging a host without foundation.

@Decker:
I recently did talk to David privately, resulting his site being online. Since this has been resolved. Would it be possible for a thread closure please?
