Well they are down and some ppl say for 4 days but I have only noticed the past 2 days. They claim it is a kernel and if that was all that should have been fixed quite sometime ago. They are a good company but most ppl are frustrated and will prolly leave. I have been thinking about it. Is anyone else with Worldzone pro? Are you having probs or are you on the other server. I have only been with them less than 1 month and went with them cuz webdude is a good guy and they had good plans as well as they accepted checks. But they have suspended my acct like 6 times. I first contacted them about accepting checks b4 i signed up and they said sure. That I could sign up for the trial and then mail my money order in and they agreed. Well they suspended my acct for non payment and reinstated it and suspended it less than 24 hours later and they said it would stay active for 1 week or until they recd my payment and reinstated and suspended it again and they had recd my payment and They said it wouldnt happen again. Less than 2 hours later it was suspended again. I emailed them and asked wtf was going on. They reinstated my acct again and it less than a few hours later it was dead again. They told me to back everything up and they would kill the acct and make a new one. So i downloaded everything and they killed the acct and never reinstaed the new one and I emailed webdude and he said I was only supposed to back up the database not make a new acct. Well he redid the acct and I uploaded it. And didnt have anymore probs until recently when I could not access the web based file manager. I emailed them and they said it was prolly my browser so I tried with IE, Netscape and Opera. Still couldnt access it and then I did a fresh install of XP for other reasons and tried with all 3 browsers again and nothing so i gave up on it again. I can ftp but the manager is nice for deleting directories. It did work once when I first got the acct. And now the downtime has me going nutz. And I only mailed 1 months payment because of all the suspensions. So they asked what billing cycle I wanted and I said 3 months if everything went smoothly the rest of the month so Alycia set me up on 3 month billing after the initial month. Well Webdude emailed me back and said I had to mail payment for the remaining 5 months because for them to accept checks there is a 6 month minimum. Well Alycia said 1, 3, 6, 12 month payments are fine but like i said he emails me and says I must send the remaining 5 months. Well its their lack of communication, not mine. They should state it must be 6 months to accept payment by check b4 you sign up.

But how is myacen doing on moving from Rackshack? Wanted to try them but if they are moving I'm sure they will have a few problems with the move?

Im sure Webdude has a few things to say. But I have no hard feelings toward Worldzone.

I have two sites with them and they are working fine. The ads of theirs here are showing, which indicates that they are working fine. They did have a problem which was explained on their forums.

and not to mention the ftp is the slowest i have ever dealt with. And the pages load pretty slow. And they blame my connection. Well I'm on cable and everything else loads just fine for me. I had another acct on a different server over there and it was quick. One of the fastest i've seen.

Hey,

Ask them to move your problem account to another server. Most hosts will do this for you. You seen happy with that other server so ask them to transfer you there.

Come to find out, when our hsphere was updated, the database for some reason didnt update......and it wasnt very backwards compatible so caused huge load and stress everytime someone logged into hsphere. It has been fixed now and things are seriously zooming fast. Been a long time since I have seen our control panel go that fast!

Anyway, I apologize about the downtime. I will issue a one month credit to any account that requests it since you are our customers, not Psoft's.. The problems are resolved, now I just have to do what I can to apologize and try to make up for it to everyone. It's actually been a long time since we have had a downtime of that magnitude.... I wish we never had them.

Also, in theory, the sites on the other machines should have remained up and operational...but they didnt...we will be working on fixing that as well. Now we know that if our main hsphere server is down, it effectively takes all others down as well...and we will be fixing this..
