Need a cheap host that can fit my needs!

As the others have said, $1 hosting never works. The cheapest I can do 1 GB space and 10 GB bandwidth for is $2 a month and that's stretching it a bit. Though you wont get unlimited FTP, email, mysql DBs, etc. with me, but you will get solid service that doesn't go down. I've been hosting for over 3 years. I tend to differ from you, $1 hosting does work :)
It is just that most web hosts do not have the BRAINS to make it work.
