for those of you that don't know, torrentflux is a torrent client that runs on your web server and downloads torrents on to it.

Consider an offshore VPS or Dedicated server.

Hosting providers should also be aware that TorrentFlux generates a lot of traffic using PHP sockets. If I recall correctly, such traffic isn't logged by Apache which is why cPanel (and probably other control panels) won't count it. Only the traffic of users downloading finished torrents will count, not the data used for the BitTorrent protocol.

Unless you use an application or script to monitor and log such traffic, I advice against hosting TorrentFlux on shared web hosting environment.

Also, for your budget and specs, you are asking for regular downtime.
