nice guide. i don't see any problems.
but at rule number too: you are saying it is okay to host with resellers, as long as they have a good reseller? if so, good :D
in rule 4 though, you should state what a GOOD number of accounts to host on one server is. instead of saying what isn't right alone.

just a Q. mind if i post this on freeweb7 forums? i will leave full credit and link back, obviously.

If the host doesn’t have a site/incomplete site then they are obviously not prepared and not safe to buy from.

Should be "site/complete site" not "site/incomplete site". On that rule, you are saying its not safe to buy from a host that has a full/complete site.

Sure, just tell me the post URL :)

I'm saying it's not safe to buy from a host that doesn't have a site or an incomplete site... But your correct, it's bad grammar/wording, I'll fix that :)

You missed out 'just pay us one time' hosting offers - they cannot survive forever and are more than likely (I say that as there may be one somewhere that kept going by using the capital to finance the hosting well - let me know if there is I'd like to congratulate them, honestly) to just disappear with the cash.

Its more of a "what to look for when buying hosting" father than a hosting guide.

Never the less, good job :D
