View Full Version : How to deal with insane ex-?

Okay, this is getting creepy. This girl is nuts. It all started when she kept trying to make me jealous after we broke up. Random little text messages waking me up at 8AM on a saturday ... "Have you seen my lingerie?" etc.
Then it got worse. She texted me last week and said she's concluded I was either cheating on her or gay since at the end of the relationship I distanced myself from her. I told her I'm not gay, and that I'm not a cheater. She didn't believe that I didn't cheat because she knew a few girls that wanted us to break up for obvious reasons.
Now, it's even worse. She regularly texts me to ask if I've been "doing drugs." I tell her 'no' just to get her off my case. Today she texted me and said "I hear you're friends with [girl]. Is that true?" I've hung out with this girl 4 ----ing times, all the last week and my ex- already knows about it. I feel like big brother is looking over me and watching my every move. Now, I'm not overlooking the fact that [girl] could have talked about it and somebody overheard, considering she goes to the same school as my ex- .... She also asks me if I've hooked up with another girl, one of my best friends, at least once a week.
So /fws/, how do you deal with insane ex-girlfriends?

Stop replying to her. She'll get bored eventually. You don't see her anywhere socially any more, do you?

Never had an insane ex before so take what I say with a pinch of salt, but either ignore completely or restraining order if it gets really bad.

Nerp.
Also, I'll stop replying to her when I get my glasses from her. I left them at her cousin's house in NYC and they are supposed to ship them over soon ...
Nick:
stfucolin: Yeah, I'll end up ignoring her soon.

Ben, I don't know if you can stomach this, but you need to kill her. I know from experience. In my last relationship, I was the crazy ex. I followed her every day to school, I kept her old tissues and I licked her door handle every day. Eventually, I smashed her face in with a mallet and buried her in the woods.
See, if she had killed me like a man she'd still be alive, wouldn't she?

Just to get her off your case? So you have been doing drugs, eh? :) "Everything made of drugs, banana made of drugs, even our money made of drugs"

She told everyone I know that I was homosexual. :P
Oh, and she called the police on me. I had some stuff of hers (a book and a dvd) and wanted them back. Thing is I was leaving for a week the next day. So I gave her some options, she could come over that night and get it, I could leave it on the door, or she could come get everything a week later. She said she couldn't come until the next day, so I said I'd leave everything hanging on my door (my entrance way is VERY secluded). That didn't work for her. So I told her to come the next week. Didn't work either. So i gave up. And sure enough, she called the cops telling them I had stolen property.

Wow! She hasn't gone that far, though I have a pair of her slippers that she's been asking about. I want my damn glasses, though.

I could start a whole new thread about this girl. Another time she was arguing with me while driving, and we got hit pretty bad by another car. Totally not her fault, but she decided to leave anyways. Thank goodness the other guy fled even faster.

She's got a new boyfriend. Which makes the situation worse. She's keeping tabs on me AND has a new guy. I wonder how bad this would be if she were still single.

Indeed it would, I guess you have to consider if you both of you still hang out with a common group of people, and if any of them who's opinions you do value don't think she's bat---- insane.
Ben
March 26th, 2008, 10:49
Yeah, there's a few whose opinion I do value.
I just remembered one thing that happened. We'd been dating for one year so I brought her to Ruth's Chris (she loves steak). I also got flowers and a few minor things. When all was said and done, on the ride home she had this distressed look on her face. When I asked her, she blurted out "YOU DIDN'T EVEN GET ME A CARD!". That pissed me the ---- off ... okay, so I didn't get a card, but I just spent $180 on dinner ...
I told my dad about that a few weeks ago and he said he'd have dumped her right then.

I despise women like this. I dated a girl who did that exact same ----, picking about whatever she could just to pick. Not worth it Ben, not worth it at all. In fact, revenge is mandatory in response to behavior like that.
So your best bet now is to find one of her friends, preferably one of her best friends, who is sexually frustrated and I think you know what to do from there on out. Also, if she has a sister or other close female relative who you can coerce, do that as well.

No close female relatives (well, there's one who's gorgeous, but she's 27 and married), and she's turned most of her friends against me. However, girl in original post is one of her good friend's younger sister (younger by a year and a half-ish).** I think you know what I'm thinking.
** I know what you're thinking, that girl in OP is how the ex- found out I was hanging out with her, but her and her sister despise each other and don't talk ...
There are also two girls who I used to go party with that my ex- hated and was convinced I cheated on her with. You see wut I cud do ther?

Agreed.
So not only do you get revenge but.. you get revenge with a gorgeous, young woman? And you get the excitement of an affair!
Win-Win-Win if you ask me. Just better hope her husband doesn't have violent tendencies if you get caught :P

The best solution is to get another girl to tell her off. It won't work if you do it.
If you hang around the same group of people start throwing the word 'stalk' around casually, it's get around.
Or you could tell her that you love her, but can't be with her because she is too controlling. Or that she deserves better than you. Girls love that ----.

I will NOT make her feel like she's "won" by saying that stuff. However ... I have referred to what she's doing as "being big brother" and "keeping watch over my ----" ... so hopefully that will cycle around.

Jeez. I was awakened by more text messages demanding to know why I didn't invite her to the party I'm planning on having this weekend. I told all of four people I was thinking about having a party. Then she started asking about this date I went on ... which nobody knew about except me and the girl.
I pissed her off good, though. Her last text message was "I don't care anymore." I'm glad, because you shouldn't! Maybe if I go through with my other plans (http://freewebspace.net/forums/showpost.php?p=975587&postcount=34) word will get around and she'll get even more pissed.

You'd be best to just completely black out all communication with her.
Delete her phone numbers, email, etc. Completely IGNORE her. From this point on, she doesn't exist to you. That kind of thing.
She'll take a hint eventually.

Hmm. :p
I think what with the she-has-some-of-your----- stuff, getting her to block out communication with you is better, and then just tell her parents/the cops/etc that she has your glasses if she refuses to give them back. She's crazy, but she's not crazy enough to break your glasses or anything if she's pissed, is she?
