Why not use Google Applications?

Like, get your hosting, setup your website and use Google Applications to offer your visitors a Gmail-like email account?

Dear coldveins,

We can offer you a package that allows you to create an unlimited amount of email accounts, forwarders, etc. However, the disk space all these accounts can consume is limited, since unlimited disk space simply doesn't exist.

RadixONE
3000MB Disk Space
30GB Monthly Transfer
$3.00/month

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via our website:

www.radixhosting.com

Our website also lists bigger packages than the RadixONE shared hosting package.

Best regards,
Josh Burt

No, they will provide you the Disk Space, a Webserver for your Website and Email server for your Email.

You have to create the website with a script for people to sign up for email.
Im sure theres some free ones around.

Im sure these services you are after exist, but this is not what people typically offer here.

Whagt about you RadixHosting ?

Dear coldveins,

I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

First of all, it's possible to pay monthly, quarterly, biannually or annually. If you pay quarterly, biannually or annually you can use one of the coupon codes listed on the front page of our website to get respectively 10%, 20% or 30% off.

We offer two webmail applications: Horde and Squirrelmail. Your clients can access these by visiting http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail. They can also use IMAP or POP3 as well as our SMTP server to send out emails.

If you want people to be able to signup for an email account via a registration form, you'll need a script which allows them to do so. I've used Hivemail for a while, but it's not free and I don't think it's still under development. You can visit this link for a list of email applications written in PHP:
http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Email_Systems/Web-based_Email/index.html

It's possible that you'll find a solution in there. If you need any help setting up a script, feel free to contact our support department.

Best regards,
Josh Burt

What it really sounds like you're looking for is a script that will set up an e-mail address for them automatically rather than you having to create it in cPanel. There are a couple of scripts that can do this:

www.socketmail.com
www.hivemail.com (actually this one might be dead now!)

Socketmail isn't free and neither is it simple to set up, but it will run on any PHP host where you can have a catchall e-mail address.

Yes, both Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.0 can be installed with a few clicks via our cPanel control panel. You are also free to install your own version manually.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Keep in mind though that sending an email to our sales department will get your question answered a lot quicker than on this forum, simply because there's a sales team behind it and on this bulletin board I'm the only person who responds to threads. :)
