Hi guys,
I'm about to buy a reseller account and start my own web hosting company
with a friend of mine. I will be the owner while he will be the co-owner
As it seems the server will be located inside the US while we live in Greece.
So I suppose that means that our company will be based in Greece.
What I would like to ask you is this:
"What do I need to do to be completely legal?"
I suppose that we have to register our company but can you give me some more
details on the whole procedure?

Any help will really be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Contact your lawyer in Greece - They will be the best ones to advise you on what needs to be done and how much it will cost.

I completely agree. Forming a company at this stage is not necessary. Forming a company means has many legal compliances which cost money which may be too much for a starting company.

Concentrate on growing your business first and when you are earning good then think about forming a company. Remember no pains no gains.

a perfect example of that was just on TV: "Dragons Den".
The woman spent £100,000 of her own cash, to register the company/patents/websites etc, and she only sold up to £7,000 in all that she has sold since she started her "business". Stupid thing, she is supposed to work in sales.

Being a Registered Hosting company is the right thing actually but only if you are ready to spend enough money in order to create a successful company.

You have to pay taxes and everything, therefore as mentioned before you have to contact your lawyer for all the legal moves that you have to make.

Just because the company is not registered does not mean you don't have to pay tax's. If you earn profit you are still legally required to pay taxes.
