Hey,

We've been waiting since Friday for a node deployment and we've just found out about the Plesk installer issue.

For those who do not understand ;
When you install a control panel on a server, we have to use the software installer that Plesk provides for that particular OS.

The Issue ;
For some reason, their Windows installer is not working properly. So when we start to install Plesk it locks up and gives errors!

Is anybody else experiencing this problem with node deployments?

Regards

Are you having a issue with vps or dedicated?

I just installed Plesk on a Windows 2003 Standard dedicated server today without any problems.

It sounds like you have a corrupted exe file or something.

Can you provide some examples of the errors?

Hey,

It's just information that Hivelocity have provided to us really. But I'm getting sick and tired of this node deployment anyway.

Have you asked Hivelocity if you may have a go installing it yourself? We actually do all of out control panel installs ourselves and handle licensing ourselves. The only datacenter that we directly license through is BurstNET since the prices are so much cheaper.

Try and see if you can install it yourself with a FRESH download of the Plesk installer. It shouldn't take too long to install.

Hivelocity have told me they (quote) "know what they're doing" but it's still taken them 2 days to work on it, still not fixed.

Have you tried Plesk customer care? They should help you if you purchased the product directly from them.

Hey,

The client turned out to be fraudulent, just out luck. Anyway, the server is now for sale, cheap ;)
