2 years ago I bought a 250GB Western Digital HDD + USB enclosure for $85CDN + tax.
Today, my friend bought the same drive, on its own, no enclosure for $100CDN + tax.
I recommended he take it back for a refund and get a superior deal elsewhere. He disagrees and thinks he got it for a great price.
Opinions?

Plenty of places :P
I can get a Western Digital 250gig for $72, Maxtor for $69 or Segate $72, being in the NT, you probly find it harder to get parts for a good price :(
Travel to QLD much? theres a Store in Slacks Creek you can pick one up from.

Well obviously he got a bad deal...
Unless your currency has inflated ----loads like the dollar, I don't think it has though.

IMHO NewEgg has the best prices, but looking at everyones Location, it might not help you out being based in the US
