My first idea came from a friend, who takes photos, but doesn't have the time to sell them or post them around so he can get his work noticed. Well, i decided to make a website, but it is more complicated than it seems, so I have now just decided to use a forum software, with it modded to suit our needs.

Well, what our aim to do is,

1) Sell Freelance Photography,
2) Allow posting on forums, using something like vBcredits for example, to earn points in order to trade for photographs,
3) Out of each photo sold, a percentage of that is donated to a charity. Initially we where thinking about "Make a wish" foundation.
4) Get peoples photography talents noticed, hopefully to advertise jobs, and also get the freelance photographers a part-time or full time job.

Something along those lines, we're still thinking about what else we can do.
I personally would like to see printings of the photographs, i.e: on canvas, and sell these globally, whilst donations are made to charities and we split the profit made, between ourselves and the original photographer.

If anyone is interested in what I am posting about, or wishes to give their feedback, feel free to post. Or, even if you wish to partnership/support us with donations, so we can start ASAP. As we will be a Non-profit company ourselves.

I'd also be very interested in joining up with this project if you are in need of another programmer. If you are just "settling" for a forum based site, I think that is a mistake. If you have a great idea, you should definitely try to execute it as perfectly as possible if that makes sense :P

Anyways, if you need some programming help I'm available for free because this is for charity. Feel free to add me on MSN (cecchi at macnaughton dot com)
