Thanks, i will soon only select the top 20 for the main page and have an all sites page instead so there will be competition so get those votes in for your site :P Sites are checked regularly for cheating :P

Hope the google ads keep you going and it turns out well, nice and simple site and no pressures on any submission. The voting part I've still to look at but hay ho :)

You can submit as many as you want, i prefer that you have a link back which increases the position on the table. There's no pressure in submitting a link, the site is pretty popular, currently we get 20 unique a day minimum and regularly up to 50 and beyond.

I have been advertising a lot so the more hits i get, the more hits you get :P

P.S forgot to mention, there is no timeout. Well as far as i'm concerned, it's not so hard that no one will ever be able to catch up on hits so it's good for now. I am adding more security and cutting down spammers.

To be honest, it's all spam really, since it's a link farm.
you should add a email verification. that's really the only way.
then again, most of the spam that you get these days are from humans, so it's still not hard to stop.

any of the submitions are human submitions, if you don't like a link please report it and i'll have another judgment of it. It's a feature coming soon report just working on it :D

I made an FAQ system for those needed questions.

There's image verification which stop bots so email verification would be the same :P
