At least it aint a wireless thing
Well, Im trying to play some video's through Windows Media Player (Vista) but when i do i keep getting "Windows Media Player has stopped working..." then when it says "Click to see on solving this please click it" so i click but nothing. So i went to search google for help but didn't find anything that helps me. So i was hoping if someone here knows why this might be happening?
Thanks

WMP, is so restrictive anyways.
Use VLC

do the standard uninstall/reinstall, works 9/10 anyway.

I've just had exactly the same problem, literally just after reading your post. First time ever :P
Sod WMP off, download VLC or RealPlayer. Both better :D

Tried the klite mega codec pack?

I got it working whilst unstalling all codec's then installing vista codec's which seems to have done the trick although did take 3 installs of the vista codec's to work :eek3:

Vista is a bugger for that. I recommend you stock up on the kLite media codec pack, like fnixws pointed out. I have them, and it helps if something won't play right

I miss the K-lite codecs...
I installed some stupid ones, and now its annoying, it comes up with a taskbar icon whenever it plays videos our sounds. I guess I should just uninstall it and install k-lite since it bugs me so much.
How close am I to 1000 posts again? God, it takes forever :)
