I'm thinking about going to a Mac at the end of the month (i've been doing pros and cons to the move for a year and keep biting my lip when i wanted to buy one at the store that sells them)
But one thing comes to mind. How do i do file transfers from the windows machine i have to the mac?
is there a cable or program i can do it ?

Why not just buy an 8 GB Flash drive or something? Or do you have too much to do that? (I don't, because I keep ALL of my documents on my 8 GB Flash Drive. Why? So I can format my computer whenever I want without losing data.)
In short, it's actually better to have a large flash drive to do this, so you can go to whatever PC/MAC You want and stick it in.
Mind you, if you're getting that super-ultra-mega-giga thin MAC Laptop, there are no ports; least from what I hear, not even USB nor Firewire nor Serial nor Modem Nor Ethernet.

The MacbookAir (I take you're referring too) has 1 USB port, if you want more, or an ethernet connection you have to buy all the add-ons. I would say just get an external drive, easier for both OS's.

I'm planning on getting the Macbook Pro :P
I got a 2gb USB key in my room, thats all i'll really need, i'll be still using the windows machine for heavy stuff, just all my Docs will go to the mac :) plus my Itunes.
Any good Mac apps ?

Good call on the macbook pro, I have one here and I love it.
Simply set them up as a network - either wired (plug an ethernet into each) or wireless. I've only ever used wireless and it seems ok, the mac works but windows machines might need a little setup for this. Then just drag and drop over the network:)
Apps: CS3, Microsoft office, MAMP, Smultron, Quicksilver, eclipse.

I don't use Mac's, so I've never tried. I've only looked into it at random times.

Wow, I didn't know there were three computer-ish QuickSilvers.
I'm sure you're referring to this QuickSilver (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quicksilver_(software)) though. Some Apple Computers are actually named QuickSilver as well.

yes I use quicksilver on my MBP, highly recommended, it lets you do tons of customize things to your mac. As for browser, recommendation is Safari, its amazing, the Mail app is great too and does a lot more then Outlook. As in transfering your docs, you can either network or read up on this: http://www.sigsoftware.com/info/windowstomac.html and that might give you a nice tutorial. You can always post on the macosx.com forums and they can help you as well. Or just contact me, I've been using mac for 7 years now and there is no turning back once you go mac.
