Do you guys go walking every day? The last week or so I've been trying to go on a walk of at least 15-30 minutes each day. It's good to do especially for those who go on the computer for long periods at a time :P

I go to the gym at least 3 times a week for 90 minutes each time. It's actually fun because I go with mates.

I did. I also used to go skating and biking alot, but since school I've not really been bothered. I used to get up at 4am, go and do my paper round till 8 (skaing or biking) then come home quickly, get a shower and pop off to school. I was always late though, no matter what time I left.

I did a few times after school but I lately stopped since I broke my bike, and dislocated my knee, so I was scared to skate (still kinda am.) I'm thinking about going for a walk in the mornings again.

I goto Gym 3 days a week, and do Kickboxing 3 days a week, im rather fit :P

Ive also got a pedometer, ive worn it during a few average days just to see how far i walked for work. Highest result was somthing like 36.2kms when my car was on the fritz. That includes the 2.6km jog to work and home tho.

Gym up to 7 times a week here (depends on work commitments), as well as martial arts. Don't tend to go for very long, maybe 60 mins each time. Marriott hotel gyms are fantastic.

Other than walking to places (which I do for like 15-30 minutes per day) anyway, I don't go out of my way to walk.

what i don't get is why segway sales in america are going up with gas prices. segways are a replacement for walking, not driving.

I spend 45 minutes in the Gym every other day on my lunch break, and sometimes 60 to 90 minutes after work.

Every other day that i'm not in the Gym, its because i'm onsite at a job, and in that case, I get enough exercise most the time to knock me out by the time I get home.

I also work my --- off every Saturday night for about 6 hours solid. Its normally a lot of stairs... over and over again...

I just live life. If that's not enough to keep me healthy, seems like Mother Nature has a few bugs to fix.

Not really, our lifestyle has interfered with that. You don't have to catch and kill your own food, nor fight other men to the death for your wife.

Ye. When Life 1.0 came out we should have just left it as it is, instead doing all the reverse engineering and changing the source code.

I just got back from my nightly relaxation walk ;)

I live in a small beach town, once all the tourists are back at the hotels for the night, the locals tend to go roam the streets and soak in the peaceful atmosphere with all the musicians on the streets and everything...

It's quite peaceful :) Sometimes you just need to step away from everything and have a little self time

I didn't know Mars has a small beach town, much less an entire tourism industry.

It does, isn't there like 5-10 other bots over there besides the lander? They were all keeping track of the lander as it was approaching Mars.

I try to at the very least do a lot of walking every day. If you can't do that, you're in a lot of trouble physically.

I like to run, but I always found it tedious. I finally stepped into the 21st century however and bought a Zune, so now I enjoy running more.

Let us also take this moment to recognize that stuffradio made a good thread.

I have been trying to walk 4 miles per day - so far only doing it 2-4 days a week, but I guess that's better than not at all!

I've been getting lots of exercise this way.

Tonight we had 3 cruisers come after us. Dip through the woods and they never saw us again.

I stayed at a Double Tree once and the gym was fantastic, does that count for my exercise? In all seriousness though, lifting heavy speakers and moving heavy racks is enough of a workout. Even with casters, many of the 22U racks are very heavy when pushing up a ramp.

Lately I've been more active than usual, and I'll probably keep it up.

That being said, I haven't actually walked anywhere for no reason in... 3 years

Ben quoted himself, and responded. Anyone else catch that?

Also, I run/jog/walk/run up stairs for exercise reasons everyday that I can, which more often than not is m-f.

might be because you are in the UK. Slang is very common in the US. slang is most widely used in the hip hop/rap scene.

I run almost every day and if you don't, I suggest you try. It gives you more energy even though that seems pretty backwards. Also good for your mind, give it a rest and get off FWS once in a while ;)
