Why did they single you guys out? Were you doing anything suspicious?

Ben? Suspicious? No waiii...

They were just being racist. I'm sure the packets of drugs in his hands were not the reason at all.

Officer: "Sir, please put those baggies down so we can properly cuff you!"

Officer, 2 hours later on his way home: "Um, what was in those baggies?? We forgot to check those."

The correct response to that situation is to spit in the coughs face in your drunken stupor and say "My taxes pay for your salary you pig, go eat more donuts!"

I was sober, and I had no drugs on me. I'm white, the cop was white. He singled me out of my friends at the pool.

He said "You in the hat and the shirt! You think you're slick?!"
Me: "Wha?"
Him: "Get over here!" ... "What's in your pockets?"
Me: "Nothing"
*cuff*
Him: "You wanna go to jail?"
Me: "Not really."

Then he just dumped my pockets out on the table next to me without waiting for me to consent. Then again, I think the cuffs may have removed the necessity for consent but IANAL. He put everything in my pockets and -----ed me out for the next 20 minutes for causing a disturbance.

This precinct I've never been on good terms with. This is the same group of police that threw me head first into a cement wall for skateboarding when I was 15 ...

[edit]
Richard: You're a ----ing ----.
I also just found out my bro was arrested at 4AM last night. He was with me at the pool, but his ex-girlfriend told police he was stalking her .... biggest load of bull----, she's just jealous of his new girlfriend ....

You are in Atlanta? Didn't know things were so ----ed up there.

Ben

It's not THAT bad. It's just this group of police that seem to have a problem with people. Two other groups are known to be demons when it comes to pulling people over. All in the ----ing suburbs, too ... I never really have problems with actual Atlanta police.

This is my 4th run in with police in the last week-and-a-half-ish. I mean, the other 3 were totally my fault ....

Jeez....well thats being young. Hate to say it, but I don't even live in a big city, and regardless of race, if you are under 30 and male, you are harassed.

Ben

They only caught me once.

And thats because I didn't even run that one time.

BrandonTheG
July 1st, 2008, 03:51

Ben
