Well,
I loved the first two games. I haven't played the expansion for Diablo II (Lord of Destruction I think it was) but Blizzard officially announced the game. They even include some cinematics!

Sweet. This comment says it all:
"YES! ---- YES! Holy ----, my titties are rock hard and I have chills. And... yep. Here ..."

Haha Dynash :D
I just watched the 11 or so minute gameplay video. The way he plays it makes it look too easy to kill the enemies, but he's probably on the easiest setting. Their skills look too over powered.

I cannot wait. Between this and Starcraft 2, I may need a new computer. I didn't see anything yet about specs, wonder when they will release those.
Looks pretty ----ing ------.
I've been meaning to buy the first two.
But I need a computer with windows on it fo' games.

If you're running Wine, you might want to see if it will work. Also I don't know how much it is in the states, but there is a package of DI, DII, and DII: Lord of Destruction.

I have heard it works with Wine. If you make a Battle.Net character, let me know. I started a new D2 w/exp character and am really addicted again.

DirectX 11 isn't availible for Wine, let alone WindowsXP though :S Or does Diablo III play without it? I wouldn't be surprised if Windows 7 came out with openGL 2 either next year.

I'm not exactly sure what DIII is using... but for DI/DII it should deff work fine on Linux :D

Its not Windows 7, its Windows Vienna. :\ Not many people understand that. Anyways, I've got Diablo 2 and its expansion. I'd be willing to get back into the game if anyone wanted to play. But, it'll be another week or two til I get my new computer parts and can get on my desktop again.

Wikipedia stated Windows Vienna is just a "codename" like Longhorn and that other name was.
@stuffradio: Diablo/II uses DirectX 8 and/or OpenGL (MACOS Version may be different). Of course it'd be able to run on Wine/ReactOS. Also, old Blizzard games like Diablo/II and StarCraft are "Hybrid" games, and can install/be recognized on both Windows and MAC with just one CD. Spiffy, huh.

I used to always play Diablo 2 until someone keylogged my cd key :(. Plus, back in the good old days my computer lagged so I wasn't that great of a player. Can't wait for Diablo 3. Hopefully they fix many of the bugs in Diablo 2.
