What are your typical working hours? I want to know if I'm being a spoiled brat or if I really should be pissed about working 50 !@#$ HOURS!

White Castle has me working 50 hours this week and I don't give a damn how good the check will be, there went my life.

What do other people work?

(BTW my wage is

7.76 hour
8.50 hour/night
12.50 hour/holiday

Working 10 hours on 4th of July which pretty much eliminated family time.... And I'm 10 hours into overtime, god knows what kind of wage that is...)

I work whenever I need to to get things done. That ranges from 0 hours to 20 hours/day.

9-5; 40 hours a week baseline. I usually end up putting in 45 or so however.

16$/hour - but it's for 40h/week. Overttime is voluntary.

I don't have a real job, but I do run a garage out of my home. I can make $20-60/hour depending on my client and what I am doing.

I also sell the parts usually, nice part of being an automotive technician.

I work a full 40 a week for around what Corazu makes

I would not be putting up with a 50 hr work week for that low of pay.

I usually bounce 3 nights a week for about 12-17 hours total. This week I'm bouncing Wednesday through Saturday, so I should make a little more change. Especially since I'm pulling the long shifts (7 or 8 pm to around 2:30am) two nights.

I get paid $10/hr, but it's not really a job. In fact, it's just a good time meeting people 95% of the time. Then the 5% of the time you're kicking ---, well, that's fun too. I spend most of my time standing around shooting the breeze with all the people I know and texting away on my phone.

Much better than my previous job, cooking my --- off in a hot kitchen for $8/hour.

6 days a week, 16-20 hours a day, $25 - $50 an hour depending on the sort of programming I'm doing ...

I don't always have enough work to fill up the day, that's when I come to places like FWS and look for questions to answer ...

still living with parents so everything I earn is 100% disposable income.. it's nice not having any responsibilities. It's also nice being your own boss.

Until recently, I worked at the Geek Squad fixing computers in store. I was making $13.39 per hour part-time. Anything over 40 hours per week or federal holidays was time and a half.

ROFL please tell me your joking.

That's a lot of cash, I think minimal wage is $6.65 in the US.

My job actually pays quite well for fast food, I'm just irritated that I'm working so much...

It depends on the area. Here in GA it was 5.15 until this past June. Now it's 6.25. Next summer it's going up to 7.25.

I'm out of a job right now (and since I'm moving in three-ish weeks I'm going to find temp work with my friends/their parents .... lawn work, minor construction, etc.). But when I was working, it was a mall retail job. 15-20 hours normally, 20-25 hours in November, 25-30 hours in December, and 20-25 hours in January. $7.50/hr. I don't live on my own (yet) so I wasn't paying rent, etc.

Min. wage in MA is $8/hour, and it's going to be $8.50 or $8.75 next year :).

I'm still applying for jobs in my area, but its insanely hard.
When I worked, I worked in Retail. It was 8 weeks of free work (I had to borrow money on nearly all occasions just to get there, then my food etc) then when I finally got the job there, I was only doing 29 hours a week for £5.45/h ($10.90/h). But my contract was supposed to be raised so I got more hours, but I dislocated my leg the first week of working there. (After the 8 weeks of free work). ¬_¬

Not much because I am just starting out. Have less than 20 clients. But getting more each day.

I will let you know how much I really make when I start making anything :P

To me tho its not all about making money. This is just something I enjoy doing.

Hi!
Work?!!? I did that once..just for exercise..took up me whole day.
Wasn't worth it.

Blah. I think I'll ask Uncle Bill to put me on his list of charities. 100% non-profit! <LOL>

I work 10 hours a day 4 days a week. Sometimes I work more, but not usually. I make $19.67/hr. Hoping to move to a better job by the fall time, or collect EI for the winter and be a stinky hippy ski bum for awhile
