how do i make a flash movei transparent?

I don't think you can. The Flash player (ie: the plugin that plays Flash movies in your browser) doesn't support overlays.

I think you can... I made a movie with a black background and changed the background to red with just adding a param attribute... I bet you can make it transparent... I think I saw something like this from http://flashbuttons.com just look in the FAQ, I think it tells you there how to make your nav bar (flash movie) transparent background, but it may only apply to their navbars... Just check it out.

have you tried messing around with the alpha property that's what I think you're talking about transparent wise.
