Javascript error on Dreamweaver startup

Upon starting up Dreamweaver, I get the following error:

The Following Javascript error(s) occurred:

At line 56 of file "C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Shared\Common\Scripts\dwscriptsExtData.js"
ReferenceError: dwscripts is not defined

I also get an error when I try to copy+paste

Any ideas?

Reinstall would probably be the quickest fix

Start disabling your installed extensions a couple at a time and restarting DW, then narrow it down to which one's causing it (reinstalling probably won't do squat). It's a common extension fail error. If your using an uploader extension try them first.

Also try re-installing JAVA Runtime/The OS itself if all else fails.
