Hey,

I don't know really know how to say it in the title, but this is basically what I'm interested to know how to do.
You know on say HostGators email lists, if you send them an email, you get an automated responce saying "Click reply, leaving the subject intact", so it's like "HostGator: #343JO46H74O23H (Your Subject Here)", then it sends the email, since the server knows that the ID code of #343JO46H74O23H isn't spam, since spam bots can't reply to emails like that.

How would I do that? (I have an idea, but I'm just missing something)

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but I'd look into email porting to php scripts. If I understand correctly, that ID isn't to prevent spam but to keep replies and emails together in one ticket.

Not ticket emails, I mean if you send an email directly to an email on their domain, like support@host.com, then you get an automatic responce from the server which has an ID # as the subject, you reply with that number, then the server knows that you're not a spam bot and that's it a real email, so it gets sent to the inbox.

Oh, I get you. I think the spam thing built in with cpanel has that option.
