You need to wait for a certain period of time to pass before you can push the domains to other accounts... I think.

New domains need 60 or 90 days before they can be transferred to a new registrar.

Im sure you can push to another client within the registrar, I use domainsite and they let you do that.

The reason I know is because from time to time I give away the odd free domain.

No you can't Stonerocket, you can on Namecheap.com, but not on GoDaddy.com you have to wait 60 days.

Shame, I really really like the look of that hostdedi.com

They are on separate GoDaddy accounts - I'm giving away the whole account for that reason.

That sounds slightly wrong..I highly doubt that conforms to their ToS.

That isn't alowed? I'll take my offer out of this, sound's very dodgy...

I don't think you're allowed to have multiple accounts or trade accounts like that.

You must be bored to register all those domains just to try selling them.

There is a domain there that I'd like but I'll wait until it's allowed to be transferred.

Better recheck that - I just got a new domain pushed to me 1 day after registration from Godaddy.

The only rule I've come across is that you can't move it to a different registrar within the 60 day period.

Never knew that, cheers!

Godaddy and registrant's information are two different things. You may be able to transfer the account.. But the registrant would still have to be you until 60 days are up.

That being said.. I had a domain that I purchased under my godaddy account for one of my buddies - his information was entered as the registrant.

Later when he wanted to renew - he was not only able to renew it but was able to get my (and reset) godaddy account when he called godaddy.

Thanks,
Adam

Only hamster picked up on that one.

So think logically - how can the OP sell multiple/single account/s makes no sense?!? More than one account or one account - which one??

Not sure what you mean by that ....

The account matches up with each domain.

1 account 1 domain.

Thanks,
Adam

I think he means he's selling the whole account, that has EVERY domain on it. So no 60 day waiting, and no pushing of domains.

May not need to wait on the godaddy account(which you don't need to wait on) but you may need to wait 60 days to change the name on the domain.(registrant).

I'm guessing what he has done, is gone and signed up to the Free domains at godaddy for new users promo, 20 times with 20 different accounts ;)

Makes sense, I was wondering why anyone would want to create a user account for each domain.

I meant the multiple account thing :)

But the OP states one account and multiple versions too so there is not only confusion about that but as in how it's being done. I think GoDaddy would be interested in their activities :wink2:

Okay, got a reply from GoDaddy. Again, they just said you can push the domains to other GoDaddy accounts before the 60 days but not to all registers. And, that selling the whole account isn't agaisn't their terms of service.

Yes, you can buy a domain tonight and push it to another users acount the next day, as long as it is an internal transfer, like if you bought it at Godaddy and then pushed it to another persons Godaddy account.

What you guys are referring to is transferring the domain to another registrar, you have to wait 60 days before you can do that.

I have bought MANY domains 1 day and pushed them to another persons account the next day. It is completely legal, and is allowed! So, don't worry, he isn't trying to scam anyone, I guarantee you that.

If you don't beleive me, call Godaddy, or any other registrar, they'll tell you the same thing.

Good luck with your sale, those are soem nice domains!

EDIT: On second thought, DedicatedZone.com, and VPSVPSVPS.com SOLD! Send me your PayPal info and I'll send payment asap! I don't want the whole account though, you can just push it to my Godaddy account.
Thanks

Either he was trying to scam some folks, or he got caught cheating Godaddy and they took them back from him. Not sure what happened, but most of those names he has listed are available for registration right now!
