No, it wasn't, they had fixed it in the GIT for Beta 5. But since it's still in development, Beta 5 is more for GIT than downloadable normally.

Wordpress is the best blog script in my opinion.

If you want BLOG AND ONLY BLOG go with wordpress,
If you want a custom blog and a little something more, try out these custom cms i've discovered, that are unique and won't let you go with the crowd.

http://www.injader.com -- uses var as variables to construct full blogs to complex sites

http://www.memht.com/ -- custom blog and full site

some of my best, and of course there is drupal and mambo and joomla, wordpress isn't the only solution but it is the only solution for blogging.. and please once you get wordpress do not try to build off complete sites off it, because people try to do that and have huge problems when trying to upgrade..

Just my 2 cents, enjoy

I definitely would go with WordPress. It is probably the best well-known blog in my opinion. It is also great because there are many plugins and such you can use to make it do more.

I know everyone uses WordPress, however it is probably the best free script on the market. It even beats some of these paid scripts easily.

Anyways, I have WordPress on almost every single one of my sites in some way, either if it is a small blog, the main website, or as something else.

even with how bulky wordpress is, i would still say it is the best. it is very well coded and you have so many things you can do with it. also, if you want to skin it, it is very easy to do.

We're talking about blogs not like tumblr, which are remote-only hosted. Then again, some blog places require registration (Like LiteBlog)
