Not sure how many times I have changed the look of DeiseHost but today I changed it again and being honest, I am almost happy with it. Just wanna know what you guys think.

I know it's not amazing in any way and there was no intention of making it that. As you know, I like to keep it simple.
Anyways, go for it.

Honest opnion here
The top banners "Powerd by" Powerd by" and "We accept" are way to big. Just has to much white space up there. Other than that I don't think it looks to bad :)

Thanks Tracker.
I agree with you. Being honest, I wanted to put something there but not sure what.
It is still a work in progress so will keep working on it and maybe go with some tips given here.
Thanks man.

Im going to shoot off an idea here but what about moving those 3 over (also shrinking them some) and moving the menu up.
Also perhaps make them a little shorter. You will have to resize the cPanel logo but the other 2 would be fine

I hate posting in these threads because of the -VE rep I get :D
Anyway, I don't think it has enough professionalism personally. I suggest you make the login part a bit smaller and make the template a bit smaller too.
The logo's (cPanel and PayPal) are stretched out of shape. The nav bar is a bit amature and could easily be improved. The image of the man/woman just sucks. It's obviously a stock image ;)
Thanks

@ Tracker: You mean move them down next to the nav?
@ NetXHosting: That's your opinion and there's no -rep coming from me. :D
Yeah the man/woman image is stock.
As said already, I like to keep things simple and was not aiming for professionalism. I will take on board what you said about the client login area.
Regarding the site width, it's at 85% and to me that's a perfect width for any website. But I guess it is down to your own screen res and preference.

Puh-leaze do not stretch the cPanel logo unevenly, I was feeling queasy when I saw it.

Puh-leaze! I didn't stretch the image. If anything I shrunk it.

Please pay no mind to the crappy mspaint work I have done here but you will get a general idea of what I mean

Looks stretched wrongly to me anyways.

Yeah, all the logos look like they've been on slim fast.
Dan, you're getting better at this designing stuff. It's pretty nice, I follow the ideas of above. Maybe you could round it off a bit, seperate some boxes etc?

Ok guys, have made some changes based on some of your suggestions.
Care to have another look?

Much better.
My only suggestion would be to reduce the width and increase the length. (wich i guess would happen just by decreasing the width.)
Dan

Reduced to 75%
Any better?

Can't seem to access the site from SG here. Tried some proxies and it doesn't work either.

Yeah. Went down for some reason unknown as yet. DC are checking into it now.

Update: It's back up now.
Apparently, according to the DC, the server was doing a file system check.

The cPanel logo still looks a bit squashed in terms of height. Don't mind me, I'm sorta perfectionist when it comes to this kinda stuff lol.
Might wanna compare it with cpanel's logo.

Slightly. But I wanted those images to be a max of 50px in height.

Make them smaller in width, photoshop it a little.
Big improvment though.

Ok will update it tomorrow. Thanks.

it seems pretty good, I find the nav/menu kinda boring though, the gray shading could be improved...
and there is to much white space under the "monitored by" logo IMO.
but thats just me.
overall, good work.

Thanks mate. Gonna try to improve everything over the coming days.
Could use some examples or ideas if you all have any?

Yeah I agree, it would look better if you reduce the width and increase the length. And the logo maybe needs some revisions i think. Anyway, those are just some of the stuffs I've seen looking to it. :)

The old one was too bland.
