In the Ads forum I had tried responding to a guy named .Adam who responded to me re: a jingle I'd advertised about.

But upon my email-notification, when I clicked the link to respond, I found that these forums stated I don't have any subscriptions. I was given to understand that many posts on this forum were recently lost.

Bottom line:

I've been finding it VERY hard to use these forums, what with posts not being posted right away, PM's being disabled, & posts disappearing.

If .Adam reads this, I hope that explains my non-response; also note that I've decided to shelve that particular topic for now, since I may get help elsewhere (though not for sure).

Regards,

monitorp

We don't make a habit of the disappearing posts trick ;)

The disappearing posts was a one time magic show that none of us wanna see again.

I've been feeling like a deaf-mute who can read lips but not talk back.
:tired2:

Okay, so long for now.

Yes, you should really read the stickied threads before complaining about "disappearing posts" :)

Isn't anyone here can edit or delete own posting?

Yes, as far as I'm aware you can edit your own post... I don't think you can delete your own though.

You can delete your own. For the time that you can edit, you just click edit > delete > delete message.
