I am looking for a free webhost for my wordpress blog. I currently do not have a domain so a subdomain will be fine. However, I intend to get a domain sometime in the future.
I do not want ads. However, I don't mind posting... provided it is not too many posts a month.
I must have cpanel with fantastico... and MySQL databases.
I don't need a huge amount of space and bandwidth... just enough to support my blog and any photos that I may post.

What is your blog about?

I may be able to help as long as it is in English. I set up custom plans that include having a Wordpress auto-installer. My site is www.hoogetech.com

well i would prefer fantastico but if your script installer has wordpress then it should be fine.

i am with xlxhost currently but will probably look for something else soon if they don't fix the constant internal server errors that make my site go down for an hour each day.. and its unfortunate because when the site is not down, it runs quickly and well. :(

sorry.... thats due to ddos attacks we are working on that and ll be able recover soon INSHALLAH.

Wow, aren't you a new host xlx? I've never had a problem with DDOS attacks.

the error 500 problem is just for about less than 1 hour due to the ddos.
and it is solved within 1 hour, so i would say xlxhost is good and fast enough
