View Full Version : Review my WHMCS Integration
Volt.Networks

I just finished integrating WHMCS into my site design. Tell me what you think: http://www.voltnetworks.com/gateway/index.php
I know it looks a little weird at the top because of the background. The background of the table has a dark gray edge but the background of the page has a gradient (light to dark from top to bottom), which is why it stands out a bit at the top. I'm not sure how to fix that unless I fix the gradient, which would then conflict with my banner.
I'm not the original designer of this so modifying that is a bit out of my capabilities.
Any review/critiques/advice would be appreciated.

Looks okay. Works fine in IE and FF3.
(Shows how crap FF2 really was, eh? ;))

You may need to fix the URL in the Order button too.

I think if you read his post properly you will notice that he did it himself. ;)

Fixed. Thanks for catching that.
My site is coded in divs but WHMCS is coded in tables. Is that what's causing it to look like that in FF2 and Chrome?

Thanks for the compliment :)

Very nice and clean.
If you are having tables, images and stuff going outside of divs (extending out beyond them - I only have FF3 on this laptop) or even being clipped, you would need to use the 'hollyhack' for the containing CSS.
See here:

Given I can't see the error, I am sorry if it's completely off.
I can't do design worth a darn, but I can fix the bugs! :)

That doesn't solve the problem. Hamster posted a screenshot of the problem above.
I tried containing the div elements of my site into a table. Can someone using Google Chrome or FF2 tell me if that fixed the issue please?

Thanks for all the feedback. I am planning on customizing the order forms and invoices in the future. When I get that done, I'll post back here.

Hey,
I like it, but the top corners need sorting.

looks good, we intergrated our site with whmcs and we also did the admin panel just for a laugh and it made the whmcs look alot better

Hey,

I know. Unfortunately, I purchased the original design from a designer. As such is the case, I'm not quite sure how to sort out the corners since I would have to edit the graphics, which isn't something I'm very good at. It still looks pretty nice either way so it isn't bothering me at this time. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Can you elaborate on that? The heading is the same. The only difference you might notice is the banner is gone.

"I'm not the original designer of this so modifying that is a bit out of my capabilities."
So, did you design it or not? People say you designed it. But, reading that, says you didn't.

I didn't create the site design but I integrated the WHMCS into the design. I hope that clears things up.

Site looks good overall, including the whmcs. That design looks familiar, was it done by one of the regular posters over in the design forum on WHT?
