phpBB 3?

I saw a forum a few days ago that at the bottom said "powered by phpBB 3.0".

Is this possible, is 3.0 out?

Probably edited.. I doubt there was when 2 isnt even official released

It was a typo in the first release of phpBB2 RC-3. It was corrected and the files were re-posted a few hours later though.

Yes that is correct. I was just stating that there was infact a typo in the first release
