Hello to all,
I want to come to a place where I know I will get direct answers to my questions and not be feed bull ----.
So here goes, I am thinking... "THINKING" of starting an online business that provides GameServers and such. I just want to know what should be the steps I need to take in order to get my site up and running.
For example...
1. buy a domain
2. hire a designer to design your site
etc..
Something like this, If someone could make up a step by step chart on what I should follow to complete my mission on getting this up and off the ground.
I would greatly appreciate all the help and support I can get from anyone who has any knowledge what so ever in this online business field.
Thank you all for your time and have a wonderful day,
Jeremy

Well, I'm not sure anyone can give you step-by-step instructions on how to start your own business.
I'd recommend you start off with a business plan/model. How much do you plan on selling your services for? Where do you want to market? Do you have the funds to run the business at a loss for a while as your startup costs?
Once your plan is set, purchase a domain. Get a designer to build you a site (or purchase a premade template). Brand it yourself and put your plan into action.
That is the general idea in starting up an online business.

I would first and for most like to thank you for your reply to my questions.
The only thing I am really unaware of is what I need to purchase in order for my site to function and so I can control / setup servers via my site.
Does anyone have a list of what I would need for my site. Software I need to purchase, What is a good site that provides a server tower I might need to purchase. I know some might say, You shouldn't go into a business without knowing something about the business itself, But i'm not worried about money. Money is the last thing on my mind, so Paying staff, and paying someone to get my site up is the least of my worries. I'm just basically interested in what I actually need to get things rolling.
I have a business plan, I have the money, I know how much I'm going to sell my servers for to out beat my competitors and the list goes on.
For anymore information, I would just like to say if you have anything that could help me out at all, please if you could supply me with a list of sites that you would recommend to myself in order for myself to start up this business that would mean so much!
thank you once again and have a nice day,
Jeremy

Correct.
There is no way anyone can or will spend time jotting down a step-by-step tutorial on starting a business of any kind, unless that's what they do for a living.
As was mentioned above, sit down, think about what you want to do, decide how much money you are willing and able to invest in this this venture, work out what you plan on selling and for how much, look at competition and see if you are in fact able to compete with their plans and prices, find a good server provider and purchase the materials you need.
Regarding designers etc, there are plenty here on FWS who are great designers, such as iBrightDev, who would be happy to work with you on an affordable design.
You can also search the forums for reputable service providers.
If you have specific questions it would be easier for people to help also.
Good luck.

Like Dan and Volt.N said no one will write down a exact step by step. No 2 sites/business plans are exactly the same so no one can tell you just what you need and how to do it.
You might be best to google some looking for the best control panels and such.
My opnion would be to find someone who knows what they are doing and talk to them [cough] and work out some kind of deal for them to help you out in the beginning.
Feel free to contact me using any method listed to the left of this post. I might be able to give you a few pointers.

That is not a picnic to run web hosting business.
and its even harder to run a gsp because of the demand for nothing but top quality networks and servers. If you use a little p4 webserver you can get away with it. You cant do that with a gameserver.
