well somone was saying to me that i dont need cgi for things like newspro you can use php and have somthing like newspro can somone help me out by telling me more and where i can get them

Wow, and you're a senior member? You should do some research before you yell. There's a NewsPro (or at least a rip off) version in PHP. It's not as good, but you can still use it.

That is what I meant when I said "dont need cgi for things like newspro you can use php and have somthing like newspro". There are very similar if not identical programs written in PHP.
Here, 115 different versions of News posting scripts in PHP.
