Hey,
Are there any decent phone systems out there, whereby calls come directly to a computer? I'm looking into PBX etc but I'm not sure if I even need anything as complex.
Must be a UK number.
With Thanks

Was thinking of Skype + Skype-IN but I don't know if they allow PBX style system config.

There are systems that allow a pbx to work with skype. You just have to search a bit to find them

I can offer you a PBX VOIP service if you are interested. I believe UK numbers are compatible with our system but the price might be a tad different. If you are interested I can look into it for you.

I use Asterisk PBX - works with my regular phones and a soft phone (for the computer) called x-lite.

What are opinions on SKYPE and SKYPE-IN for business? :)

I think Kall8 allows something of the sort. There system is basic, but it does allow for a few different "extensions" (if that is the reason for wanting a PBX).

skype for business is the same as regular skype except you can add people to your skype for business account and they call make calls from their computers while you pay for it.

explain exactly you want to do, it would be easier to suggest a solution.
