Is it possible to get one time server management? I basically just need someone to take a look at my CentOS 5 server to figure out what is causing it to crash quite often. I just can't seem to figure out why it would crash and it's really bugging me.
I'm willing to pay for someone to look at it for me. If anyone can recommend a good server management company, please tell me.

There are many companies out there. Just do a google.
My guess is it probably needs to be Audited.

Yeah, thanks Dan. :)
I've got RapidSwitch looking into it now, not very cheap for them to do it but it's better than it randomly crashing.

My guess is its probably a loose config file.
Probably with the httpd service, or php.

Could be one of many things. Could also be a failing HD or a messed up RAM Stick.

This kind of service is being charged hourly. So be ready to complete short task with explanations, so that will take short period of time
Hope that helps

Give us a shout if you still come unstuck, Rapidswitch have some pretty good tech's though and i'd be amazed if they cannot spot it.
There was a bug in one of the kernel on centos not so long ago that caused one of our boxes to keep rebooting or locking up - I reverted the kernel on the box and that sorted things.

Everything seems to be running fine now. I agree, RapidSwitch have some good techs, the only problem is that the kernel panicked before it could log what caused the problem. At the moment we're both thinking Suhosin is what caused it as that seemed to show up in the logs each time it crashed. It has now been removed and everything seems to be ok.
Thanks for the help guys. :)

Well I guess I should update this thread.
We've finally found the cause of all the random server crashes to be RAM related. I asked RapidSwitch to do some tests on the RAM and it failed every single test. New RAM has been installed and the server runs a lot smoother now.

How old is the server, did they find out why the RAM failed ?? or was it just old ??

They didn't say. I've only had the server for around 4 months with them.
Before asking for the RAM to be tested I ran memtester and the server crashed around 2 minutes into the test.
