Why do people actually upgrade to a new version of ps? Every version is almost exactly like the last one except for the design. An even better question is: Why even release a new version every year?

They add new functions, but not everyone will use them. Which is why not all businesses upgrade to the new CS version.

they also improve some of the older functions. so, it is not really needed, but, nice to have.
