I have the netcraft toolbar and it confirmed that geeksteps.com is affiliated with with a phishing site called timeshabbo.com

The guy sells $4 domains for two years with free privacy protection and steals designs including nulled scripts. This isn't geekstep.com. Its geeksteps.com I will not host geeksteps.com any further and the site is no longer partnered with geekdialog.com or Ralph Chastain.

He never paid for hosting. I gave him free hosting :)

His accounts were terminated right away.

There's tons about it all over WHT. Also just realised, check his actual forum, he has a warez section on it. & now that he's been terminated, check the forum - "Please take note that warez, nulled, hacks, scripts only allowed in our forum & not your hosting account !"

edit: Holy----, there's more bad stuff on that forum. "Post your credit card dumps here", then there is a list of credit card names, addresses, numbers, security codes etc.

There's a load of US and UK credit card details too. Hopefully he'll be caught really soon.

Got a problem with me? I bite.
Anyways, if its in the US, just report to the cops. The FBI will take care of them for fraud.

I said that from the start. I wonder why they never took action tho.
At one stage the entire site was a rip of theirs.

Not the point, you're still allowing access to them, and NOT removing them knowing full well they are there.

Let's kick some fraudster ---!

JAN, JAN.... JAAANNNN!

If this was WHT, she'd be owning their asses. I say that Jan or someone bans the people suspected involved, does a WHT-Style investigation of her own and then comes to a conclusion?

Because I really don't fancy using a forum full of fraudsters!

And now you're spamming and double posting?

How old are you Junhosting?

You must be under the age of 18 at least, if you weren't then you must be 1 hell of an idiot for breaking so many laws.

*Copyright Infringement (Posting Warez)
*Trafficking Copyrighted material without permission (Hosting Warez)
*Unlawful Spamming (Yes, it is against the law in the US, UK And Australia)
*Trafficking Stolen Personal Details (Hosting credit card details)
*Using stolen personal details (Attempting to use those card details)

How badly do you want to go to prison? I really do suggest you clean up your act Junhosting, before karma gets you.

I do not think this has anything to do with our fraud site. This is a totally separate issue, which it appears Ralph has taken care of. 'nough said on this end for this particular situation.

We do not agree with you dropping in our website name for this reason...

It seems his hand was forced. He should know that he is wrong. He probably didn't willing shut down his site either. In order to salvage his reputation, he apologized? Just some speculation/food for thought

Am I losing it or something?

If this was a court and somebody who had provided stolen credit card details to the public said "I'm sorry, I won't do it again" - would they get off with it? NO.

The fact of the matter is, Junhosting person was involved with offering these details to the public, it is illegal.

So in my personal opinion, we don't need people like him in the industry, what so ever.

Fact is, if we didnt' nag about it on here and I didn't report it to IC3 yesterday, it'd still be there.

People like him should be banned from here and we should really crack down on people like this.

I don't want to be with a community that is full of con artists, fraudsters and scammers, uh uh.

i would have to agree with the fact what he did isn't as simple as just sorry. he post fraud credit cards detail, warez etc. What he done is damaging to a web hosting community and i condemn his action. however, if he own up and sincerely want to change (and not because he is being force), maybe he should be given a chance. i did something illegal in the past, was punish for it and i became a better man.

You do know any IPB website you can see if its nulled or not with out asking IPB or the owner yes?

Most you can tell when the callback code is removed or the link and the bottom or the copyright is not as it should be.

But if you have topics like:

Discuss, learn, and show off your hacking skills here!

You're like 99.9% most likely not going to pay for a IPB license.....
