The weather is indeed pretty intense this year. It went from 70's-80's to 50's-60's very suddenly this year in California. I usually don't mind cold but it's just pretty sudden and intense all of a sudden for California weather.

Here in south Louisiana it gets up to 35C easily in the summer, sometimes higher. Plus the humidity from all the water. It's not uncommon for the heat index to be over 110F.

Nice, 12-15" is a bit more than 1.5' I believe. We're expecting an additional 10-15cm on Sunday, which would give me around 7 or 8" in total of snow.

It was 10 F this morning, it's now 17F which is.. -6 C I think.

We got some ice last night which was fun to walk and slide around in, but it was gone by about 3am. Now everything looks all ----ty and wet and most of the snow is gone. Bring on the snow.
