Just looking for a few suggestions about my new blogging service. I'd like some NEW ideas, not just plugins/themes and such.
Throw me a challenge, but keep it related to hosting/wordpress stuffs.

At the moment, I just released domain support for wordpress, but have it setup for manual change only. So a user must request their blog to support it. :D A bit of database tweaking, Lol.

So, comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Ah, to keep track of people who comment? That's in the admin panel. So, you'd prefer it be public?

Opera/Firefox posting widget :D, or modify the current Wordpress quickpost thing so you can select categories too, as you currently can't.

okay.
Well, this Wordpress Opera widget (http://widgets.opera.com/widget/8881/), works but you can't select categories or nothing, you can only post text and a title to your blog. I don't know/haven't looked/used any for Firefox, as I use Opera as my primary browser.

And the quick posting thing from Wordpress is built in. In the Wordpress admin panel (If you are using the new version) it has something called "Quickpress" that does text, title and tags, no Categories. They all go to "Uncategorized".

There is also something called "Pressthis" it's inside tools->Pressthis. It's located at http://www.{name}.com/wp-admin/press-this.php That's good, more advanced, but if that was placed in a secure widget of some sort - that'd be a good plugin.

Thinking of the Uncategorized cat too, you should have a simple form so you can change the name of it, as you can only change it if you go direct to the SQL table and edit the name.

Er, possibly suggest something other than a browser add-on. I'm not a computer programmer. :D I can do PHP/MySQL though. But, no C++ and such.
