I have a shared plan at nixism that host 20 of my small sites but over the past 4 mouths there has been downtime or server problems.
Is any one hosted by them as i just don't want another host to run away with my money.
I am asking this because they have been down for more then 24 hours. I have tried to email them but no one replays back, or if they do i get a dumb replay.
It seems to me some one hosted on nixism needs a reseller account or vps as he has emailed telling me he told a user off last week when they where down....
Any way rant over lol can any one help.......

Yes I have read about their downtime in WHT. It seems that the company has been sold to a person which in turn trying to sell the company again at SitePoint.
Do you have any backups of your site's files and databases? If you do I suggest you to move immediately to prevent any more downtime.

So someone bought their company...and now he is trying to sell it to someone else...
Guess all their clients will have problems.....And they didn't inform their clients at all about that?

I don't think he will close the company or something....

Even the long running hosts are dropping out these days, not safe anywhere 100% of the time.

It seems that the guy that was going to buy it actually sent the moeny but then Nixism's owner didnt pay the server bills and it went down...
Something like that and cause of that the buyer cancelled his payment....according to what the buyer says....
