Hey everyone.
This is my first post as a member to this site.
I recently deleted my freewebs website in hopes to find a better one. I want it to be as easy to make as possible, free webs had an easy site builder. I cannot use html and am not to smart with computers. Could someone please suggest a FREE and EASY website host similar to freewebs for me please.
Or is freewebs the best their is in terms of easy to use and free?
Thankyou for your time.

Well, you might want to specify what you are looking for... Like do you need MySQL, etc.
PS: We, web hosts, can't advertise here, it's against the rules... If you really need to find a web host, please put a request in the 'Free Hosting Request' forum.

I suggest finding a free WYSIWG editor and creating your own website. Then uploading it to a professional host.
FreeWebs is severely limited. It may be easy to use, but really, your design is restricted to a couple preset templates and maybe a custom image or two.
In any case, it's not hard to learn. And there's always the possibility of getting a free CMS such as Joomla to make the web site a lot easier to manage.

Hi all.
This is my current website.
http://pf-budgerigars.webs.com/
I am looking for somthing similar, but somthing I can make more than 20 pages on and sotmhing that costs nothing. I also hate the adds on freewebs and the long load time. Can I use microsoft frontpage? Then where do I upload it to?
What is a good free website editor?
I want to be able to place pictures where ever I want, but not have to use html. I have no idea how it works.
Thankyou very much for your support thus far.

I recommend you look into a decent wysiwyg editor:
http://www.kompozer.net
and then free designs:

As far as free hosting goes, you need to find the best one, and learn how to use it. It won't be as easy as freewebs, but this is how it works.
If you want to know what hosts I recommend pm me, I have used a few and know which ones are reliable.
Reliability is what you are looking for. If you look through the free hosting offers forum, you should know that tons of those hosts get shut down after a brief period of time.
You might post a request and then look into the reliablity of the host, there are sites that monitor their uptime and stats as well as user reviews.

Hi Kirby.
Thankyou for your reply. It wont let me message you, could you add pearce_flint@hotmail.com please.
I have tried bravehost and 110mb.com and word press. None suit my style. I cannot use html, I dont understand it. Is their any site that is basically the exact same as free webs eg: has site editor, all done online, no adds. Please email me if you get this.

Some hosts offer Site Builder, a software from Parallels that allows you to easily create websites online, similar in ways to FreeWebs.
Another option is using a one-click installer such as Fantastico De Luxe or Installatron. This allows you to easy set up a website, forum, or blog, with little to no technical experience.

You can also use CMS if you want a better solution :) There are various CMS you can install within seconds from Installatron or Fantastico De Luxe.
