Well, i've been looking around for a decent, yet cheap host, but it's kinda hard with all the un-professional hosting out there.
Anyway, i just wanted to know if anyone here reccommended cheap hosting?
I want to start up my own small, anime downloading/streaming service as i don't have the cash to pay for VPS Servers or whatever. O_O
Monthly price plans would be ideal. (Paying monthly, rather than the whole 12-month thing etc.) But anything will do.
Cheer's.

Do you have the appropriate licenses for that? If you don't, you need to look into offshore hosting. If you plan on streaming anime, you might have to have a decent budget to get an appropriate plan to suit your requirements.

Obviously not. xD But there are tons of anime streaming/downloading websites out there. Another one won't hurt. D:
Streaming isn't really a factor right now anyway.
All it really is that i need is affordable, reliable hosting; suitable for a few 100 anime downloads. http://www.fatcow.com/ Does that look reliable? o.o Every host i find says "unlimited" this and "unlimited" that. Sways me a bit. xD
Thanks.

The fact of the matter is what you are wanting to do is illegal. Thus you wont find a host here ;)

Just think of it as "promoting" they're goods rather than it being "illegal." ;]

You can't offer downloads, and you can't offer streaming. You can however if you host them off your servers, and if you don't leave any evidence to say you have uploaded the files - which is the illlegal part.

Why would I think of it as "promoting"? If you want to promote them then have a web page that says "Go here" and that links to the offical site. What you are doing is not legal because you do not have permission from the owner to share it. Simple enough.

When you pay monthly, the price goes up and it is often more than $10/mo.. usually $14 - $16 per month. I can tell you that you can get a decent low end VPS for around $20. Otherwise get hosting account form some of the companies that use clustered hosting systems and do not oversell.

I think if you have some company name in mind (you have mentored above), so why don't give that a try?

You may want to place request in the request section here. There you will be able operate with direct offers from providers
