my site was hosted on secureservertech
with a ddos protected plan
i was pleased with em,however due to
its content i wanted to move
it offshore so i had to look for a new host
after some googling i found fivva which looked
good , offshore and with ddos protection, couldnt
find anythin negative about em so gave it a try
i paid for sitepack c shared hosting package
after i had my site all set (uploaded files/sql db)
i noticed its slow so i sent a support ticket
they replied the following

"your site loads our server hardly, for your site is required 2gb (min 1 gb) dedicated ram,we have suspended your site traffic , unfortunatly your site cannot be hosted with shared plan,we recommend you order dedicated server only,as solution
we'll cancel your shared plan and your payment will be refunded to your account balance within a few hours,we'll
post here possible (discounted)dedicated server configs
for your site and prices, our apologies for inconveniences"

then they replied again sayin
"we will create a new shared hosting account for your site at our another machine, please wait for our updates"

after telling me my site is "unfit" to be in shared hosting
and sayin i should buy a dedi they changed their mind
then after that they replied again and made an offer for a dedi i liked the offer and wanted to go with it but then once again they replied the same thing as before about moving my site
to another shared hosting server , i asked whats goin on
and they said all of their dedi's are out of stock , they
actually offered me a dedi without checking if they have any
available, unbelievable , then my site was okay for a short time but after that it gave "internal server error" errors
and then gradually became insanely slow til it went completly offline , i asked why and they said:

"part of our panama servers disconnected for a while
we will replace several network switches with brand new
ones,our apologies,it was planned"

obviously a blatant LIE , a few hours later i asked
again for an update on the situation and they said
my site is under ddos attack and that my previous hoster
is behind it (BS if you ask me), i forgot to mention this
but i paid extra for their ddos proxy which is suppose
to filter/mitigate ddos traffic automatically, so of course i was surprised to see my site go down like that, few hours
later they replied again saying they filtered it
and my site is up again,a short while after (half an hour i think) my site went down again for the same reason , my site
is still down since then,3 days already of downtime,i complained
again and again and all they had to say is "our datacenter staff is working on it" what a joke,i also demanded a refund
a number of times and they refused to give it (they didnt say so specifically but didnt even refer to it),they even deleted 2 of my support tickets about it

heres screenshots of all of my support tickets
i tried to ask for a refund nicely at first but
that didnt go well

also they claim that according to their TOS they dont
do refunds for first month payments which is not true
as far as i can see on the TOS , stay away from em :shame:

....And the domain you have hosted with them? All the information and no domain, it doesn't show proof that you are with them, or have been with them..

Cheers,
Adam.

From the language on their site I am surprised people actually pick them as a hosting provider.

I guess some people know no better - Like the OP. But still, when you get those replies via tickets, and their poor use of English, was you not alarmed?

But it seems that conversation happened after the signing up. That is impossible to realize on the first hand I'm sure

That is why you "check" first. Anyway, the site is a sure sign you should not be signing up in the first place anyway, the use of English is horrid.
