Do you have an exchange account? If so, do you have all the server and login info? Do you have Outlook 2007 Installed? Do you have Autoconnect?

If yes to all the above, follow the info below:

Go to the control panel and mail and show profiles
Add a profile and give it a descriptive name
Fill in the info and click next
Follow the dialog boxes and you should be set up.

If you don't have Autoconnect:
you'll need a lot more info but here it is:

Go to the control panel and mail and show profiles
Add a profile and give it a descriptive name
Check the manual configuration box
select the exchange option
enter the server address and your username (you might need to check the "use the cached exchange mode"
click more settings (you might get a warning box, click ok)
In connection, select a proxy if needed (otherwise, exit the "more settings")
Click check name and next

That should work, otherwise, contact your provider for step by step instruction for their exchange server.

If you don't have a provider, take a look at sherweb.ca!

For me it is Sherweb.com but yes, that is who I have. They replied telling me what the exchange server is, but only one part of it, so I am waiting on another response right now.

Did you follow what was written in the welcome email? Do you have your domain pointing to them or are you hosting the domain somewhere else? If you are hosting somewhere else, you need to add some NX entries. Check their knowledge base, everything is written (step-by-step) and comes with images.

My domain is hosted with netfirms.com.

I created an A record, and follow the tutorial that they provided to me and entered the exchange server name they provided, but still no luck.

Here's what i've got:
MX entries:
domain.ca. pointing to spam3.ihostexchange.net. with priority 10
domain.ca. pointing to spam4.ihostexchange.net. with priority 10

A entries:
autodiscover pointing to 66.46.182.17

It should make a difference for the connection. MX and A entries are not used for the authentication

Have you tried the manual connection steps: http://support.sherweb.com/showfaq.php?idarticle=198&idcat=31

I tried the suggestions you gave and have tried their tutorial several times, and still no luck.

weird... is there anything special in your network? required proxy, vpn, application firewall, etc? Can you log in at webmail.ihostexchange.net?

Well that is quite odd. I can access it through webmail just fine, but outlook is being a royal pain.

I tried setting it up with my other email accounts with outlook and in a profile all by itself and no luck.

I use a 3rd party spam company to prevent a ton of spam email being sent to me, but never had an issue with it before.

Although I doubt it's creating issues, you could ditch the anti-spam. Sherweb's Barracuda spam filters are way sufficient (never had one spam reach me). What OS are you running? I know I had some difficulties with Win 7. Can you post a screenshot of the errors (or how far you're getting).

I would but I paid for a full year (no choice in the matter).

On my desktop I am using vista home premium, and on my laptop I am using vista business.

I dont really have no screen shots. Basically the whole tutorial works, but when it goes to access the account, it asks me for a password, and I use the one that I use to login in to the webmail with, but it says no address can be found in the address list and what not.

I have no idea, because I followed everything to a T. I set the MX records like you mentioned, and I created the A Record.

If I remember correctly, I might have had that issue before, I gave them a call and they fixed it. How's the ticket with them going?

I have been contemplating on giving them a call. I will probably do that at some point today to see if they can fix it.

Thanks for all your help. Much appreciated!

Did you manage to fix the issue?

I gave up on it. I just use the reply feature in cpanel now.
