http://www.donhost.com - They delete accounts for no reason.
http://www.--------.com - The name says it all.
All this information is from what I have heard in these forums and I accept no responsibility for the accuracy of the information.

Avoid Fasthosts, Donhost, and all of their resellers.
It is also advised to stay away from any host who offers unlimited space/bandwdith.

And they aren't what you would call a budget host... they charge a lot, and you would expect them to be good... but anybody who expects that is dead wrong.

They advert everywhere and give away free plane tickets and stuff.
But they really suck. Really bad downtime, slow. Once someone paid for bandwidth with C I Host over the phone and the woman forgot to add the bandwidth to thier account

Well Bedford Tx is about halfway between Dallas and FtWorth. That's only about 4 hours from me....well two hours for me to drive....anyway, I should drop by and visit them as a potential client....with a mini tape recorder :D
I'm sure I could put them in some embarrasing situations with my questions...that more than likely would be above their heads..

I hope you're being sarcastic.
-------- is a donhost reseller -- a.k.a doomed to fail in the end, and uses their ----ty unlimited plan.

Wow what a horrible host! They had my site down for over a month, noone answers the tech support email or sales phone #. Sent a registered letter saying that my service was canceled and that I could not reach them, was stopping payment via CC, etc. Came back with no such address! Wow what a scam!
I can't believe their website is still up.

Portland.co.uk's pay hosting ;)
CIHost (yes, I agree; they're too expensive and aren't reliable)
Cyberwings (wouldn't trust their overly cheap prices)
Donhost and its resellers

http://www.hostzone.co.uk were a bad host however they are improving. I'm going to be nice to them until they get their linux servers installed. If they are good then I shall declare them a good host. Otherwise they will be just as bad as they have been with their windows servers.

You say "wouldn't"... But have you actually tried their hosting, or are you just basing this on the fact that they have prices that border on insane? If it is the latter, then I doubt you should be passing on 'advice' to people who are more likely than not expecting some past personal experience to go with it. Unless we're talking about CI Host and -------- and such, who have had countless complaints from customers and seem to be synonymous with the term "bad hosts"..
That's just IMHO.

Have you guys ever wondering why places like yahoo(geocities pro) and paid hosting at community architect do not offer any scripting languages with their hosting. If doesn't make any sense.

A lot less server load without a heap of scripts and stuff running, isn't it?
