FileLAN is testing free VPS hosting supported by advertisement by offering one free VPS to someone that meets the site requirements below. These requirements can be adjusted depending on the hosters needs. If this test is successful FileLAN will offer more free VPS accounts in the future. Additionally there are details below about our free web hosting and cloud storage hosting/sharing system.
Free VPS account offer
- Site must be in English
- Site must be a top level domain such as .net .com etc.
- Traffic level must be approximatly 30k impression a month (does not have to be unique traffic just raw impressions)
- Site must be clean and not porn
- Site must display our google ads and meet Googles TOS for displaying advertising
VPS Configuration
- Hosted on Dell server with dual CPUs
- VMWare virtualization system
- 512Mb RAM
- 30Gb of space
- 3Mbps traffic in rate limit
- 1Mbps traffic out rate limit
- Choice of CentOS or Fedora 10 or custom if required
