I use Netscape 6.2 mail. It's actually very good. Especially since I can check my AOL account, without opening AOLs crappy software.

Eudora, simply the best, but if you want something free and adless, you could just use Outlook Express.

I use Pine (http://www.washington.edu/pine/). With my home PC I use PC-Pine and from elsewhere I'm using Pine via telnet connection. Open source and nearly bugless (being developed since 1989).

I use Netscape 6.1. It's good and fast. No more worries with macro viruses.

Yes free with the $500 Miscrosoft office, quite a bargain I'd say. ;)
