Just wondering how it's like Ebay? Ebay prices things by the seller/bidding, so you can't say it will have cheaper prices?

If an item is selling for say $150 for instance, that is done by the seller. However, the fees that a user must pay to list the item up for auction is controlled by ebay.com. This is what I was referring to.

Ebay is almost foolproof.

Let me first start off by saying that no website, regardless of who owns it, is ever 100% foolproof against scammers, hackers, highjackers, etc.

As long as their are programmers in the world, then all websites have a vulnerability.

With that said, we currently have the following security measures in place, and always are looking into more. We also only employ paypal.com as our payment gateway as they also help in the verification of every transaction to ensure its legitimacy.

Below is the security measures currently in place.

Seller verification
User admin approval
Auction approval
Private site (admin control over who can sell) (Our site is not private, but can be).

As one of the administrators to the entire site, we get BCCed on every email that gets sent out (notification wise) of auctions that are set up, when an auction ends, and when emails get sent out to users from the site.

The only emails we do not get copied on, is emails (PM) between users.
